I do not believe or trust that The Special Economic Zone act and the developing regulatory framework will benefit the health, wealth and well-being of Ontarians when the government plan is to prioritize development with a ‘colonialism-like’ negation of municipal jurisdiction, and a disregard of protections for labour, the environment, endangered species, and Indigenous rights.
