I am oppose to the Ontario government's proposal to exempt early mineral exploration from the Permit to Take Water (PTTW) system. It is on of the few remaining tools left to assess whether large water withdrawals are appropriate. If we don't safeguard our water now, we will pay very dearly in the future. Greed is childishly myopic "I want it NOW!" Instead, always think seven generations forward - like wise indigenous elders.
