Staff of the Township of Springwater are generally satisfied with the proposed streamlined municipal infrastructure EA process and regulation as this will greatly reduce delays in the implementation of projects, while maintaining appropriate environmental oversight and consultation opportunities.

Staff recommend that the proposed streamlined EA process and regulation includes guidance on consultations and studies required for the projects that will no longer have EA Act requirements.
