Yet another example of the Ford government trying to do things the easy way instead of the right way. I mean, come on. This land does not belong to us, and after the genocide of Indigenous people for generations we’re finally being respectful and making sure the land we build on does not have some sort of historical or cultural significance. But that’s okay, we can get rid of that because Ford wants private developers to make more money.
