The proposed changes to this environmental assessment requirements are appalling. Municipal roads, bridge reconstructions and private sector infrastructure should be subject to EA Act requirements.

This proposal does not provide adequate protection for archaeological heritage.

Listen to the Chippewas of the Thames First Nation, the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation, Ginoogaming First Nations and many others who have raised concerns about the reduced consultation with Indigenous communities in the process of development, and the Ancestor burials that are put at risk by these changes.
