Whilst I recognise and support the endeavours to upgrade infrastructure, this should be done in harmony with and respect for the environment, the archeological foundations of the province, and the agreement of First Nations peoples whose ancestry in this land is far older than ours. It is necessary, therefore, not optional to conduct all appropriate assessments of proposed lands before building begins.
