I am very concerned about this process being revoked. This feels like a way to circumvent proper environmental investigation and community consultation. Highway 413 comes to mind, a project that has had HUGE backlash and opposition which the current government is deciding to ignore. This is a shocking change in the light of our current climate crisis. We should have more stringent environmental assessment processes which includes private developers, not this!
