I could approve these expansion plans as long as affordable housing is included, and not at 80% of the market value. (Those people with low incomes cannot afford $1800. per month, compared to $2400 or more per month, for example). It should include a rent geared to income policy.
I am absolutely 100% OPPOSED to this proposed Official Plan for Douro-Dummer. Not only will it stymie any future growth potential in our small hamlet, but it is an unrealistic interpretation of our area.

My property at 380 Douro Seventh Line is a defunct aggregate that has been rehabilitated through the MAAP program in 2021. The sweeping changes of the Township of Douro-Dummer as Prime Agricultural does not reflect the actual land.
