I understand the need to cut red tape but protecting cultural, archaeological, and environmental resources is not the red tape that needs cutting. I support all those being protected properly.
It's my understanding that Indigenous communities need to be consulted for euro-canadian sites proceeding to Stage 3. It is suggested that this be adjusted to notification or scoped out of their consultation.
