Please take into account removing SEZ will significantly damage the lives of hundreds of thousands of species at risk. Species that once they are gone, cannot be brought back. My children deserve to enjoy the same Ontario and Canada that I did growing up.

I think it's an absolute disgrace to run roughshod over Ontarios natural heritage. You people are destroying the future quality of life in this province. Where are people supposed to get their vegetables China? And going for a walk in the woods with the kids. Forget about it. Shameful.

It is still incredibly concerning how much power is given to one entity with this proposal. Particularly when it comes to deciding when areas will be exempt from certain laws. It is not clear when consultation of Indigenous communities will be deemed necessary?
