This is not a science based decision. This is being made in the interest of a controversial highway development amidst a climate crisis. Extinction is forever. I vehemently disagree with weaking our species at risk protection. Stop being the puppet of developers. Read more

I do not support these proposed changes to the Endangered Species Act. It appears that government would like to weaken the legislation in order to facilitate the building of highways and the development of natural areas, which I think is harmful to the wildlife and people of Ontario.

This regulation weakens regulations put in place to protect Ontario of generations to come. Protections should be improved, not removed. This should be stopped immediately. Please do right by the people and the children of Ontario who will inherit the land when we pass. Read more

I am disgusted with the Ford government's attitude toward protected species and land along the path of their proposed highway 413. We don't need it and it will not reduce commuting time by any appreciable amount. Read more

I am strongly opposed to the development of the new highway. It will destroy too many vital habitats, wetlands, waterways and could lead to the complete loss of many critically and imminently endangered species. Ecosystems are just that: systems. Read more

I do not agree with the regulatory changes. The government needs to ensure the protection of endangered species. As usual this PC govt is looking to bypass oversight and regulations not in the best interest of the environment but in the best interest of business. Please stop.
