It does NOT make sense for Special Economic Zones to be declared with proper public consultation, open competition. Proper environmental and health impact is a must. Honoring Indigenous rights, treaties, and consultation is a must as well. Read more

Bill 5 shows a regressive mindset where big government throws it's weight around and disregards reconciliation gains made through engaging respectfully with First Nations. Honour the treaties! Respect the democratic process. Reject Bill 5.

While I respect the need to take action to improve the Canadian economy and lessen our reliance on the US, we cannot let fear override careful thought. This proposal is too broad. Meaningful consultation and consensus must be reached with indigenous people. Read more

I have truly lost faith in the governments decision to decide what is the right thing to do and the main reasoning behind this is the reckless spending that ford has done. Rather than someone who spends money on investors we need someone who spends money on community building. Read more
